Cobble Hill Golf Course
One of the oldest golf courses in America, built in 1896, the course offers nine challenging holes interspersed with tall pines and spectacular mountain views. The course is open from May through September.
Boquet River
Ample fishing sites along the river offer easy access to try your hand at catching trout and salmon. Canoe or kayak in the spring or fall when the water levels are up, or just enjoy the natural beauty.

The Adirondack History Center Museum and Colonial Garden
Operated by the Essex County Historical Society, the museum features three floors of exhibits focusing on the history, social and military background of the Adirondack area.
The Colonial garden provides visitors a beautiful display of color with formal beds of annuals and perennials. The Essex County Adirondack Garden Club maintains the gardens.
The Museum is open from May through October.
Farmers Market
Offering the best of locally produced plants and produce, herbs and everlastings, maple syrup and honey, Artisan breads and cheeses, specialty baked goods and preserves, and unique arts and crafts. Located on Church Street in Elizabethtown. The market is held every Friday from May through October.
The Hand-Hale Historic District
Designated in 1979, the District is located on both sides of River Street in the hamlet and features the stately homes and offices of two prominent families in the annuals of state and national law. The gracious white frame Hale House, which dates from 1818, is located on the north side of the Branch and was residence to Judge Robert S. Hale. On the south side, Judge Augustus C. Hand built the brick Greek revival structure in 1849. He was the grandfather of Learned and Augustus N. Hand, the eminent justices of the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
